Indy 500 2019: It’s race day at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and we've got all the information you need to get ready for Sunday's 103rd running of the Indy 500:
START TIME: 12 p.m. ET. GREEN FLAG: 12:45 p.m. ET.
Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila, host of "American Ninja Warriors," will serve as the grand marshall and will call drivers to report to their cars at 12:38 p.m. ET. Actors Matt Damon and Christian Bale share the role of honorary starters and will wave the green flag.
RACE DISTANCE: 200 laps around the 2.5-mile track for a total of 500 miles.
TV: NBC. Pre-race broadcast begins at 11 a.m. ET.
RADIO/STREAMING: All NTT IndyCar Series races are broadcast live on the Advance Auto Parts INDYCAR Radio Network, Sirius 219, XM 209, IndyCar.com, indycarradio.com and on the INDYCAR Mobile app. The race can also be streamed at nbcsports.com (if you have a cable or satellite provider).
NATIONAL ANTHEM: Kelly Clarkson will perform the national anthem for the second consecutive year. Clarkson also sang the anthem at the 2011 Indy 500 when she collaborated with Seal.
WEATHER: Questionable. While there is a decent chance the race can start on time, rain and thunderstorms are in the forecast most of the afternoon. The Weather Channel is calling for temperatures in the mid-to-high 70s with chance of precipitation rising from 25% around the start of the race to 80% around the projected checkered flag.
LAST TIME: Will Power started third and outpaced pole winner Ed Carpenter by 3.159 seconds to win his first Indy 500 and the 17th for team owner Roger Penske. Scott Dixon, who went on to win the 2018 IndyCar championship -- his fifth in series history – finished third.

LINEUP: Simon Pagenaud, the 2016 IndyCar Series champion, posted the top qualifying time in the Fast 9, putting a Penske car on the pole for the 18th time.
